Placiness was an exhibit at the Good Arts Building, held in conjunction with the 2016 Seattle Art Fair, and this was its website. The show was about artists’ responses to place, specifically the place that is Seattle. Placiness was a one-time event, but I became attached to the word and the concept, especially as this place continued to change, as places will do. Now reconfigured as a blog, I’m continuing Placiness as the repository for my further musings about place and meanderings around places. Stay tuned.
